Perfectly Aligned Bearings
We carefully inspect and measure the bore of each cylinder block for roundness and alignment. Bores that are out of round or alignment will be rebored using laser alignment for accuracy. This process helps ensure the proper operation of the crankshaft, reducing vibration while adding longevity and improved performance to your engine.
Precision Decking
A flat surface is essential to establish a consistent mating surface for gaskets. We analyze each block and take off only what is needed. By taking only the minimum required we help extend the life of the block. The result is a perfectly flat deck that helps prevent leaks while maintaining consistent compression across all cylinders.
Re-Counterbore
The engine blocks we work on are not just slightly used, they are heavily used, and within demanding conditions. Over time this wear and tear can result in imperfections within the block and cylinder that can prevent a proper seal. We analyze each block to ensure they are within their original specifications. When required, our precision counterbore service will remove the minimum material to bring the block back into spec.
Extend the Life of Your Block with Cold Spray
Our customers’ demand a lot from their equipment. When one goes down, they need to get it back up as soon and cost effectively as possible, without sacrificing on quality. Cold spray is a cost effective, modern solution that can keep your engine block in service longer and more cost effectively than brazing or traditional welding.
