Cylinder Head Inspection
Each cylinder head is closely expected by our expert machinists. We look for obvious signs of wear, deck warping, valve seat damage, and more. We then do a detailed magniflux inspection to find even the smallest cracks that would impact your engine’s performance. We then proceed to conducting pressure testing to ensure find leaks and cracks within the head. Any issues identified during our inspection process are clearly documented for our repair and remanufacturing process.
Cylinder Head Deck Resurfacing
A cylinder head that is warped can cause major issues with your engines performance and durability. Our team of expert machinists will carefully resurface your deck to ensure the smoothest mating surface possible while maintaining manufacturing specifications.
Cylinder Head Repair – Valve Seats, Exhaust Ports, Cam Bearings
Damaged or worn valve seats and valve guides are repaired and replaced as necessary to meet OEM specifications. Exhaust ports are cleaned and resurfaced to ensure for smooth flow of exhaust gas. In diesel engines with overhead cams, the cam bearings will be removed and replaced.
